Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi
Face to face with mountain gorillas in Uganda's ancient rainforest

What to Expect
Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is home to roughly half of the world's remaining mountain gorillas, and trekking to see them is, for most travellers, the single reason they come to Uganda. This itinerary is built around that one encounter — a guided trek through dense, ancient rainforest alongside experienced trackers, culminating in a permitted hour observing a habituated gorilla family at close range. We keep the rest of the trip simple and well-paced around it: a day to settle in near the park, the trek itself, and time to rest and reflect afterward before heading out.
